St. Isidore Garden & Lawn Care delivers the following services as the core of most service programs. Of course, every garden or lawn is a little different and so every service program must be a little different. From simple lawn mowing to complete care taking, these are some of the services that will be useful to you.
Lawns Everyone loves a beautiful lawn and nothing says you care about your home or garden like well maintained lawn. To facilitate this, a regular program includes three applications of fertilizer annually, weed control, as well as regular mowing and edging. All this is accomplished with the quiet and subtlety that only hand tools can produce.
Shrubs Aside from formal topiaries and hedges, shrubbery should be allowed to achieve its natural shape. That is not to say every plant should be allowed to get as big as possible. A happy medium can only be realized by the careful hand pruning that is the hallmark of this regular service program.
Fertilizer and Weed Control
Fertilizer has become such an emotionally charged aspect of gardening that I have come to rely on the customer's inclination as to how to proceed. It can be a difficult choice. The number and quality of natural products grow every year but they still don't offer the selectivity of synthetics.
Clean-up and Removal Bedding areas are always raked free of leaves, sticks, litter...leaving a neat, uniform appearance. All debris is removed for recycling.

St. Isidore Garden & Lawn Care also delivers these major services. Although not really part of regular care they are an important part of the mix.
Consulting Often people will just need a plan. They want to have a nice garden but don't know where to start. Let's make that plan together. The right plant in the right place or the right product at the right time can make all the difference in the world.
Trees Correct tree pruning can make or break a beautiful garden. Like shrubs, each tree has a normal growth pattern that it will always seek to achieve. My goal is to work with a tree's natural habit and encourage a natural, healthy, vigorous condition. This means removing any dead wood, crossing branches, limbs that are too low or detracting from a pleasing shape, thus opening the canopy to allow in light and air.
Mulch Regular mulching conserves water, improves the soil, and adds a nice finishing touch to a garden. This can be a major undertaking and so requires a little extra planning.
Bedding Plants Spring and summer annuals (even a few in a pot) create such a finished, thoughtful atmosphere, they repay the effort many times over. This can be a very personal aspect of the garden and varies so much from year to year that I like to consider this separately from most other services.
